A highly enthusiastic media professionals, Sahar is having a solid nine years of experience in
the media industry. Have worked with News Channels, Advertisement agency, theatre groups,
Television and Film Industry. Educationally a BA Sociology (Honors) Aligarh Muslim
University, and a Master’s in Mass Communication Degree Holder- Asian School of Media
Studies (ASMS, Marwah Studios) and a gold medalist throughout.
Sahar started her working stint with India TV News Channel and then has been an integral part
of newly launched media ventures- Sudarshan News Channel and Dharm News Channel. For
these channels, Sahar has been a part of the core team, and hence she has handled news
generation, public relations, publicity campaign etc. After her stint with news channels, she
shifted her focus towards the entertainment industry where she has been a part of movie
channel Cinema TV as a Promo Producer and a scriptwriter. While working for good four years
in channels, she gave a chance to her core strength of writing while becoming a story writer for
much-acclaimed award-winning show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as a story writer (2014).Since then she has ideated, conceptualized and has created content for various GEC Shows. She
has written shows such as- Million Dollar Girl, Sadda Haq, Meri Sasu Maa, Razia Sultan, Moh
Moh ke Dhagey, Sheikhchill, Ishq Subhan Allah.
She has worked with almost all the leading GEC Channels. Sahar is a powerhouse of words and
has excellent mastery over Hindi, Urdu & English.
Sahar has also been a writer for feature filmsChinaar- Dastaan E Ishq as a Screenplay and Dialogue writer

Has also done Hindi dialogue translation for a Telugu film- Na Peru Surya Naa Illu India.
